Language educators develop their abstract writing skills
On May 18, teachers of the Center for Foreign Languages and Communication took part in the “Impulse” workshop on abstracts of research papers. The workshop involved discussing a possible structure, language patterns, and style of abstracts. The participants shared their experience of reading, writing, and translating and got inspired to write their new research papers.Participants’ feedback:

The workshop on writing an abstract to the article taught me how to make this important part of the paper concise but informative. Using a cohesive layout and some strategies for choosing language means which were presented at the workshop will facilitate my future academic writing greatly.
