Writing Programs in Russia spark international interest
Valeria Evdash took part in the online panel presentation at the University of Denver Regional Conference “Research(ing) Writing Cultures: CLASSROOM, PROGRAM, PROFESSION, PUBLIC” on July 20 2018. The representatives from four Russian educational establishments shared their experiences of running academic writing programs for students and scholars.

Actually, the conference discussion was a bit challenging taking into account the online meeting via Zoom, an online video conferencing service, and nighttime that was from 00.30 to 01.30 (Tyumen time). Nowadays technology is really beneficial in allowing enthusiasts to communicate despite the distance and time.
The Russian speakers got extremely positive feedback from the conference attendees.
