The Writers' Group has launched
On January 30, a new event took place at the Center, which is often a place to support aspiring researchers in a challenging process of preparing a research paper. A Writers’ Group is an excellent way to have some help along the way, discuss some writing strategies and techniques, & get feedback from group members. Sometimes encouragement & understanding that other people are interested in your work can be inspiring and helpful.
During the first meeting, the participants shared their writing experiences and challenges, discussed their expectations, and created an action plan for their research papers. The moderator, David Dusseault, professor at SAS, highlighted the differences in writing in Russian & English and engaged the participants to share their commentaries. Hopefully, the participation in the Writers’ Group will enable its members to accomplish their goals more efficiently.
